AGe of Sigmar Scenarios

Below you will find the 2016 rules.  These WILL be updated for 2017.    You can see composition guidelines for Age of Sigmar  here  on our Fantasy Systems page.   

Overall will be mostly based on battle points but a portion of the overall score will definitely include points for sportmanship and painting. 

There will be sportsmanship and painting awards available.  Depending on the overall levels of registration this award may be awarded to the best player from the combined pools of 9th Age and Age of Sigmar.  

 

Scenario Round 1 – Take and Hold

1. Follow all of the rules in the “Take and Hold” scenario in the GH (page 110).

2. Major Victory (as per the scenario) is worth 20pts, Minor Victory 15pts, Draw 10pts.

3. Major Loss 0pts, Minor loss 5pts, draw 10pts.

4. Bonus Objective 1 “Decapitate the Enemy”: Kill the Enemy General. 5pts. Both players can achieve this objective. 5. Bonus Objective 2 “mine, mine, mine!”:

5 points if player controls the most table quarters at the end of the 5th battle round

 
 

Scenario Round 2 – Blood and Glory

1. Follow all of the rules in the “Blood and Glory” scenario in the GH (page 111).

2. Major Victory (as per the scenario) is worth 20pts, Minor Victory 15pts, Draw 10pts.

3. Major Loss 0pts, Minor loss 5pts, draw 10pts.

4. Bonus Objective 1 “Delete their elite”: Kill the enemy’s smallest Unit (must be a unit of multiple models, not a single mode, not an artillery unit). 5pts. Both players can achieve this objective.

5. Bonus Objective 2“Into the lion’s den”: 5 points if player finishes the game with any one of his units within 6” of the back edge of the enemy’s deployment zone (can be any unit type). Both players can achieve this objective.

Scenario Round 3 – Escalation

1. Follow all of the rules in the “Escalation” scenario in the GH (page 112).

2. Major Victory (as per the scenario) is worth 20pts, Minor Victory 15pts, Draw 10pts.

3. Major Loss 0pts, Minor loss 5pts, draw 10pts.

4. Bonus Objective 1-Lieutenant Hunt: Kill 1 enemy “hero” model. 5pts. Both players can achieve this objective.

5. Bonus Objective 2, “I can win with one hand tied behind my back!”: 5 points if a player leaves 1 of his units (single model counts) off the table for the entire battle. Both players can achieve this objective.

Scenario Round 4 – Border War

1. Follow all of the rules in the “Border war” scenario in the GH (page 113).

2. Major Victory (as per the scenario) is worth 20pts, Minor Victory 15pts, Draw 10pts. 3. Major Loss 0pts, Minor loss 5pts, draw 10pts.

3. Bonus Objective 1-“I thought he was dead?!”: Kill the Enemy General. 5pts. Both players can achieve this objective.

4. Bonus Objective 2, “It’s all about controlling the center, and letting the world know it!”: 5 points if a player controls the center point of the battlefield with any of his units that has a standard or musician (a single standard bearer counts). To control the center point a player must have the most models on or within a 3” circle around the midpoint.

Scenario Round 5 – Three Places of Power

1. Follow all of the rules in the “Three places of power” scenario in the GH (page 114).

2. Major Victory (as per the scenario) is worth 20pts, Minor Victory 15pts, Draw 10pts.

3. Major Loss 0pts, Minor loss 5pts, draw 10pts. 8. Bonus Objective “I can be the biggest dog in the yard!”: A unit champion wants to be a hero, you must have a unit with a champion controlling one of the three places of power. 5pts. Both players can achieve this objective.

4. Bonus Objective 2, “If he can do it, I can do it too”: Have a second unit champion (who also wants to be a hero) be in the unit controlling one of the three places of power. 5pts. Both players can achieve this objective. 9
